[T]here are many fun things about being a wedding photographer and traveling to places that I never would otherwise is definitely one of them. Prestwold Hall is in Leicestershire and is one of those huge country piles that is still privately owned but gives up a section to weddings and events. Chloe and Aman chose it for it’s relaxed grandeur and even on a somewhat grey winter day, it is an impressive place.
As a surprise, Chloe arranged Dhol Drummers to welcome Aman, who was dancing before he even got out of the car. They had a very personal ceremony that included many elements from their cultures and family members. Then we braved the cold for some photos in the grand driveway. The day was so much fun and we left just after Chloe’s Dad and Uncle Phil played an acoustic set of classic British TV themes.
Where it all come from is a mystery, it’s like the CHANGING of the seasons and the tides of the sea..
