HANS + ANNA - NYMANS

Built to look like a medieval mansion, the house at @nymansnt in Sussex is actually only 100 years old. It's a big old imposter. It also became mostly derelict when a fire destroyed much of it, including a painting by Velasquez. It started when the staff had a party in the family's absence. Imagine explaining that one to your employer when they arrived home.

It was an impossible task to rebuild the house so instead, they focused on the gardens, making them truly extraordinary. They are a place of romantic hope and are Grade II listed to protect their legacy.

It's a wonderful venue for a wedding. You have those wild ruins in the background and so many gorgeous places for photos throughout the grounds. If you are looking at Nymans Garden for your outdoor wedding, let's chat. I had such a great time shooting there for the lovely Hans and Anna on their wedding day.
