The drama of the remote Scottish landscape is just such an incredibly inspiring place. I will never tire of how it changes by the minute and how just around a corner there can be something utterly magical. I first met Linzie, a fellow photographer when she came to one of my workshops in Glasgow. So when I was returning to that part of the world, we got to chatting about how she would love to have a shoot with her husband John. Like a lot of us, her life is very busy. She runs her successful photography business and also runs her own workshops ~ All with two small children in tow.

Linzie's life is about to turn upside down though as she is soon leaving Scotland to live in Australia with her little family. So to celbrate her and John's wedding anniversary, we heading out to The Trossachs national park, not far from Glasgow but just far enough to find this kind of glorious scenery. We climbed to the top of that waterfall with the silence drowned out by the sound of crashing water. They said their I love Yous while thinking of this life and the new one ahead of them. All of us have busy lives but every now and then taking a step back to take it all in can really give perspective...

but I would walk five hundred miles and I would walk FIVE HUNDRED more just to be the man who walked a thousand miles to fall down at your door

Many thanks to....
