Twenty Sixteen for me has been the year of shooting Festival Weddings, London Pub Weddings, Seaside Weddings, At Home Sessions, urban engagement shoots and editorials for the fabulous Rock n Roll Bride Magazine. I’ve had an utter blast at every single one and it’s been fascinating to return to them all and pick out some of my favourite images. Being a photographer is a wonderful job, weddings are an incredible day to be involved in people’s lives and I don’t think I will ever grow tired of it. I’m so thankful to all the people that I worked with this year.
There are many things that I adore about this profession. First up, meeting and connecting with so many new people. I have many fond memories, from Nannas ruling the dance floor in the Peak District to a bridal glitter party on the confetti strewn floor of The Asylum in Peckham. I love how I get to see places that I would never visit otherwise. From getting lost with a couple from the American South in the wilds of Scotland to hiking up Brighton cliffs with New Yorkers 15 minutes from my home, it’s been ace and now I’m excited about next year …
I know where beauty lives. I’ve seen it once, I know the warm she gives. The light that you could never see, it SHINES INSIDE. You can’t take that away from me.
Fantastic photos. You are an inspiration in all that you do. Beautiful moments here. I hope 2017 is even more exciting and rewarding. xx
