I love that Arlene and David chose The Peasant Pub in Farringdon as their reception venue and then looked for a nearby church. The church ~ St Ethelred's was utterly incredible and quite a dramatic setting for the ceremony. I started coverage with the bride at the gloriously gothic Rookery Hotel, where her little flower girl was fascinated by the naked cherubs at the end of the bed.

It was quite possibly the hottest day of the year but David had planned the couple shoot for one of the city's bombed out churches that has been turned into a beautiful garden. The peace and the shade were very welcome and it was fantastic to find somewhere so serene in such a busy place. Below are some of my favourite photos from the day but you can see also see all of the images in the client area.

don't be afraid of the world we made on a hot SUMMER night
