HAYLEY AND RYAN’S RELAXED WEDDING IN BRIGHTON WITH A RECEPTION AT THE JOKER
If you’ve been scrolling Brighton wedding photography and feeling like something’s missing – too posed, too formal, not quite you – Hayley and Ryan felt exactly that. They knew what they wanted. They just needed someone who could deliver it.
A Brighton wedding, shot like a magazine. Relaxed enough to feel real.
The ceremony gave them the moment Ryan had been quietly looking forward to most – seeing Hayley at the end of the aisle. After that, the day belonged to them.
Brighton is my home city and I never get tired of it. There’s always a lane that catches the light just right, a quiet corner that feels like it was put there specifically for two people to walk through while forgetting I’m behind them.
Hayley and Ryan wanted candid portraits in the city they love – and Brighton delivered, as it always does.
Hayley had told me she wanted images with a vintage Vogue feel. Magazine worthy, elevated but not stiff. Relaxed Editorial Wedding Photography is a brief I can 100% work with.

“I’ve just left a 5* review on Google for you, thank you again for being so amazing” – Hayley

Why A Brighton Pub Wedding Feels So Personal And Relaxed
Hayley and Ryan are the kind of couple who put real thought into every corner of their day – and it showed. The Joker was dressed in details worth photographing: gorgeous modern feeling flowers, disco balls catching the light across the room.
I always make time for this. The details aren’t filler – they’re the evidence of everything you planned. Years from now, those images remind you what the room looked like, what you chose, and what it felt like to walk in. These room at The Joker also have a beautiful quality to the light.
A Joker Brighton pub wedding is a particular kind of day. No grand staircase, no manicured lawn. What The Joker has is character – real atmosphere, warm light, and a room that fills up with energy the moment your people are in it.
For photography, that’s a gift. Venues with personality don’t need propping up. You work with what’s there, and what’s there is good.
Then you step outside, and you have all of Brighton.
What you bring. What I bring.
Hayley and Ryan brought two things I always hope for: genuine excitement about their photography and real trust once we got started. They knew what they connected with. They came prepared with a vision.
I brought some ideas for a nice, easy route ending with meeting their guests at the vintage double-decker bus, and twenty-five years of experience making two people feel completely at ease on the most documented day of their lives.
If you’re planning a Brighton wedding and you want images that actually look like you – and like the city you love – let’s talk.
