When I first met Caitlin and Mark, they had just booked their Preston Court Wedding and were in the early stages of planning. They knew they wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and that their wedding should be as eco friendly as possible. So they fell for Preston Court in Kent as it offers a gorgeous setting for an outdoor ceremony on a tiny island plus they could stay over in the pretty bell tents.
A last minute rain shower meant that everyone moved indoors for the ceremony but this couple were very relaxed about it and the ceremony was wonderfully personal and heartfelt. The tables were decorated with ‘stuff from home’ which made it feel very personal to them and meant minimal waste.
The bride wore a dress that she already owned but added a spectacular cape covered in sparkly stars and the groom looked super chilled in his Hawaiian shirt and shorts.
One of the wonderful things about this venue is the old carousel and after dinner, everyone took turns spinning around on it before a mariachi band appeared and the dancing began.
Oh and if this couple look familiar it might be because you saw their lovely engagement shoot at St Dunstan in The East.
