Very much yes, they can mark this exciting time in your life, when you’ve decided to marry and the planning is in full swing. It’s good to have proper photos that are just about the two of you and although most people find it awkward initially, it’s usually a fun thing to do.

First up, let me just say that engagement sessions are waaaaaaaaaayy more awkward than wedding photos. On your wedding day, you are extremely busy and the photography just becomes a part of an entire day of extraordinary actions. When we go for an engagement session, we are not doing anything else so yes, it feels awkward… to begin with.
