London Bride Shoot for Crown and Glory with Rock n Roll Bride

London Bride Shoot for Crown and Glory with Rock n Roll Bride

How have I not yet blogged this super pretty shoot for the Rock n Roll Bride veil collection at Crown and Glory? We decided to do a shoot with a very London look but the kind of London that you see in Richard Curtis movies.. all pastel coloured houses and blue skies. We wanted our model to convey a laid back urban bride and I think Tinks totally got the vibe.

The veils are all super cute and available here. The very lovely flowers for this shoot were provided by Amie Bone, the make up and hair was done by the brilliant Tabby Castro and most of the bridal wear is from Halfpenny London. If the location looks a little familiar, it was were Ness and Mugs took me for their London Engagement and they tell me there are always film crews there!

Every inch of sky’s got a star. Every inch of skin’s got a scar. I guess that you’ve got EVERYTHING now …

At Home Engagement Session in Brighton | Georgia + Jim

Why go out for your engagement/pre wedding shoot when we can just do them at your place? All your stuff is there, we don’t have to wear our coats and we can drink coffee. Georgia and Jim live in a huge light filled flat and they are pretty local to me so I went over to hang out one afternoon.

These shoots don’t have to be super elaborate, if anything I prefer doing them in your everyday surroundings. They just help me get to know you a little and get to know how you interact and fit together. This pair fit together especially well and it was a great chance to also find out some more about their Brighton wedding next month.

I took a photograph of you in the herbaceous border, it broke THE HEART of men and flowers and girls and bees

Couple Shoot in Scotland // Natasha + Seth

Couple Shoot in Scotland // Natasha + Seth

There isn’t much persuading needed to get me up to Scotland so when this couple got in touch asking about a shoot, of course I said yes please! Natasha and Seth were over from the US for the World Bagpipe Championships and they wanted to have a couple shoot in the glorious landscape just outside of Glasgow. When I asked about the bagpipes Natasha said “He plays and I’m a groupie”.

They wanted ‘typical Scotland’ and luckily I know the exact spot that has heather, waterfalls, rollings hills, forest and country lanes. I just had to try to find it again.. luckily we did and luckily we didn’t get ‘typical Scotland weather’. It was such a pleasure to spend an afternoon with this pair and I hope these images will always remind them of their trip and this time in their lives.

I want to WALK WITH YOU on a cloudy day. In fields where the yellow grass grows knee-high …
